WHAT MAKES THE V2 DIFFERENT

R.A.D® ("Rally Against Destruction") was founded by a competitive CrossFit athlete and an experienced athletic shoe designer — people who actually train, building a shoe for people who actually train. The V2 takes everything that made the original ONE great and sharpens it in two key areas: flexibility and durability.

The SwellFoam™ midsole — partly made from sugarcane (currently 30% bio-based) — delivers a springy, responsive feel underfoot without the instability you get from overly cushioned trainers. At 6mm heel-to-toe drop, it puts you in an optimal position for lifting while remaining versatile enough for runs, jumps, and dynamic movements. The TPU heel clip adds structure exactly where you need it during heavy pulls and squats.

The R.A.D® WAVE wrap — the distinctive all-rubber side wall — isn't just a design feature. It's engineered to shield the foam and upper from rope abrasion, one of the fastest ways to destroy a training shoe. Combined with a reinforced toe bumper for burpees and toes-to-bar, the V2 is built to last well beyond what most gym shoes can handle.

The herringbone rubber outsole delivers exceptional grip on gym floors, competition platforms, and outdoor surfaces — no slipping mid-lift or during lateral movements.

ABOUT R.A.D®

R.A.D® is a small, independent shoe brand built by athletes for athletes. Co-founded by Ben Massey — a CrossFit affiliate owner and 2017 Games team competitor — R.A.D® exists because its founders couldn't find a training shoe that did everything well. So they built one.
